(Minneapolis MN)- On December 17,, 2009 Grammy nominated recording artist Trey Songz & Philanthropist/Author Noonie G will host their non-violent youth initiative “Songz 4 Peace” in Minnesota to benefit Urban Youth.
For the 2009 Holiday Season, Trey Songz and Noonie G will host Songz 4 Peace at South High School in Minnesota to benefit urban youth. We are currently seeking sponsors to assure the success of the event. Monetary contributions and in kind donations are welcome. We are also looking to provide gift bags for up to 500 youth and provide additional giveaways. Please see locations below for gift bag/gift bag items and toy drive drop off below. ABOUT SONGZ FOR PEACE: Songz 4 Peace is a non violent youth initiative formed by Chicago Philanthropist Noonie G & Grammy Nominated Recording Artist Trey Songz. The birth of Songz 4 Peace took place in Chicago Illinois at Lindblom High School on August 5, 2008. The purpose is to educate and empower urban youth as well as influence them to make wiser decisions and utilize the options available to them. Since its launch, Songz 4 Peace has been activated in Richmond VA at Thomas Jefferson High School and has hosted several youth empowerment engagements lead by Trey Songz and his team.
